America has more churches per capita than any other country, yet most Americans have never heard the true Gospel - the 'Good News' of the Kingdom of God.
Our message:
Organized religion has used a collection of scriptures to proclaim God as a judge who demands diligent obedience in order to avoid punishment and be pleasing to Him. God has been said to allow disasters, tragedies, deadly illnesses and other calamities to afflict humanity because of man's sinfulness. And, in spite of being called a God of Love, He is guilty of sending humans to eternal torment if they don't believe in Him.
But, God became incarnate as one of us in the form of Jesus in order to show us that we are reconciled to Him and not separated from Him. Jesus came to dispel the commonly-held religious idea that God is wrathful or demanding. In Jesus, the Father showed mankind that He is not mad at His human creations, but He is passionately in love with us - every one of us!
Because of Jesus, we can know that God dwells in us - everyone of us - as Spirit. God genuinely loves us because He dwells in us, and He sees only Himself when He looks at us, so He can only do good for us and never harm us - if we simply accept this as fact and live in it. This is being a citizen of God's Kingdom.
The purpose of Digital Evangelism is to expand the Kingdom of God on earth through the truly good news of the Gospel.
