Jesus is in trouble!
Jun 29th, 2008 by Gordon
“Jesus is in trouble. When people worship him today - or even speak his name - the object of their devotion is unlikely to be who they think he is. A mythical Jesus has grown up over time. He has served to divide peoples and nations. He has led to destructive wars in the name of religious fantasies. The legacy of love found in the New Testament has been tainted with the worst sort of intolerance and prejudice that would have appalled Jesus in life. Most troubling of all, his teachings have been hijacked by people who hate in the name of love.”

Its Christ who should be spoken not the earthly shell worshipped. I spend time alone w/ a hero sort who looks a certain way to me to hold my attention…weird off the wall things he says that I’d never think a Spirit would say… or am I simply doing the talking for him? Am I capable to talk for him? When He talks its such different things that echo thoughts that could never pertain to this earthly mindset we get captured in…we usually call this: Irrelevance. Mostly when I’m asleep and my controlling powers lay disabled, that’s when He drops pictures: we take sleeping pills to remove this. Or in those moments when I feel lazy but its really His Spirit holding me down long enough to hear Him say something I can’t hear when I rush around: we call this: a slump or lethargy or depression. Truly when he shows up humans mistake it for a flaw in us to medicate or erase.
