Genuine faith does not attempt to make God honor His promises. Faith is not manipulation.
Faith is simply trust that Father will always do what Love does.
Just in case we aren’t sure what Love does, we have been given many promises from our Father to tell us what we can expect. But, faith doesn’t put expectations on God, either. Expectations create opportunity for us to be disappointed when our expectations aren’t met. God doesn’t have expectations of us, therefore He is never disappointed in us.
But, we can have expectancy! Expectancy that Father will always do what Love does, and He’ll do it on our behalf. Faith then, is trust or expectancy that our Loving Father will always do what any loving father will do for his children. And, that love is without partiality - He does not reward one and withhold from another.
Nor does God reward us because we exercise faith more than the next guy. Love is no respecter of persons - it is unconditionally extended to ALL of God’s creation in abundance.
God’ doesn’t have a different definition of ‘right’ or ‘good’ than we do. We are created in His image and have His nature in us; therefore what we know to be right and good is from Father’s heart in us.
