America has more churches per capita than any other country, yet most Americans have never heard the true Gospel - the 'Good News' of the Kingdom of God.
Our message:
Organized religion has used a Western collection of scriptures to proclaim God as a Righteous Judge who demands diligent obedience in order to avoid punishment and be pleasing to Him. God has been said to allow disasters, tragedies, deadly illnesses and other calamities to afflict humanity because of man's sinfulness. And, in spite of being called a God of Love, He is guilty of sending humans to eternal torment if they don't believe in Him.
But, God became incarnate as one of us in the form of Jesus in order to show us that we are reconciled to Him and not separated from Him. Jesus came to dispel the commonly-held religious idea of God as wrathful and demanding. In Jesus, the Father show mankind that not only is He not mad at His human creations, but He is instead passionately and crazy in love with us - ALL of us, not just the religious or church members.
Because of Jesus, we can know that God dwells in us - everyone of us - as Spirit. God genuinely loves you because He dwells in you, and He sees only Himself when He looks at you, so He can only do good for you and never harm you - if you simply accept this as fact and live in it. This is what it means to be in the Kingdom of God, or to be 'Born again.'
